Re: Where is the kernel located? *New to Sabayon*

does this mean that the 'current' sabayon grub is ext4 compatible? or do those of us that downloaded sab 4 lite dvds still need to create a separate /boot partition with ext3 instead? i ask this because most distros are making their grubs ext4 compatible, while we all wait for grub2. so, is sabayon ...

Re: Poor performance (unresponsive, pausing, stuttering etc.)

kde 4.1 in entropy

is kde4.1 anywhere to be found, in entropy form?
maybe in the zenana repo?
and if so how do i install it?
(non-obvious answer, i mean like how to install only kde-base, and not kde-games, or whatever... selecting each module)

thanks in advance,

cheers. 8)

installer is nuts

Re: Sabayon x Gentoo , facts and differences...

Another feature of Sabayon may be commented. In my oppinion, despite i'm a Chemistry Scientist and Professor, and not a Computation Technician, I have in mind that compatibilize Portage and Entropy to be used together is not so simple.... For me, Sabayon is a very good Linux and a hard and long com...
