Re: Sabayon on an Acer Aspire One ZG5?

I hope to install Sabayon on an Acer Aspire One AOA150-1447 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home). As mentioned by others, this tiny laptop has no CD/DVD drive at all. Could I use an external USB 2.0 DVD-ROM drive? Slow probably, but would it not ...

New Macbook Intel...Version?

Just got a brand new (black Macbook) for Xmas. Running Leopard 10.5.1; 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Downloaded Sabayon 3.4f 64 bit version and tried to run Live CD. When I do get a successful, usable Live boot, I want to partition, install Sabayon, and have the machine be dual ...

Personally, there are some things I like better in KDE, some better in GNOME, and some better in XFCE. I end up switching amongst all of them daily. My trackpad "goes wacky" in KDE sometimes, cursor just moving quickly to the far right. In GNOME or X, never. I would prefer having all of these three ...

USB Flash drive mount prob

This probably too easy for you CLI geniuses, but... One of my usb flash drives, that USED to be recognised perfectly in the older mini edition of SL, now will not be recognised, after installation of full DVD version, and upgrading kernel to .18 OTHER flash drives are mounting fine, but this one is ...
