I believe that there is a fatal flaw in the Sabayon 5.3 BitTorrent control files. They all seem to have a fixed storage path built in, namely "/sabayon/iso/". You can read about this on the GRUB web site, but here it is anyhow. Put a blank disk in the floppy drive.

# cd /boot/grub
# dd if=stage1 of=/dev/fd0 count=1
# dd if=stage2 of=/dev/fd0 seek=1
That's it. You should now have a bootable GRUB floppy.
