Re: "Conflicting packages were pulled in"

seem to have a work around, but functionality will be lost.

equo remove entropy-client-services

now you can do your update:

equo upgrade --ask

I will file a bug, considering that trying to re-install entropy-client-services after this looks to wanna downgrade back to rc97..

Re: Resources For You

These resources are brilliant.. even better would be a consolidation of these resources available offline on the desktop as soon as the fresh install wakes up the first time... perhaps label it "Start Here"

Re: battery not fully charging

excessive processor usage can cause a shortened battery life.. I recommend also that you monitor your cpu usage as well as hard drive usage to see that these are functioning normally. This would be directly affected by the OS itself and could be the result of a driver issue of some sort.

Re: World of Warcraft

I can tell you from experience that this will continue to be a problem with WoW no matter what you do. There have been countless others that have emailed Blizzard and petitioned them to make a native linux client, but they are scared to death that their flagship product will be hacked to bits by lin...

Re: Windows Vista, and Sabayon on seperate hard drives

Thanks for the help. I seem to have them both working and accessible now (Vista and Sabayon) and accomplished this by reading your post and a post from someone with the same problem when installing a different linux version. Thank you for bringing to my attention that the windows bootloader had been...

Windows Vista, and Sabayon on seperate hard drives

After being told that I don't know enough about linux to get sabayon to work next to windows on my NVRAID set up, I disabled the RAID setup and now have them as 2 seperate 80gig drives. My problems is simple... When I install sabayon on either drive, it makes Vista incapable of booting.. and unable ...
