Re: LXQT

my guess is that something in systemd pulled in some GTK stuff in the Arch universe. My understanding is 'Mr Green' the head of Archbang sees the light of, if you are not GNOME I don't want you to use GTK and will be running both a GTK and a QT ISO cuncurrently till GTK craps the bed if you are not ...

Re: want to build from barebones, but dont want to gentoo.

Thanks man. I didn't know 'equo' was availible from the start. I thought you had to update the gentoo aspects then install 'equo'. I am not real fond of fluxbox, but can use it if it's a pain in the but to install xserver group. I dont have a problem with the command line, I have installed Arch Linu...

Re: Calibre ebook reader

I haven't used Sabayon in quite awhile, but on the Calibre site. It says install from this the script they provide. I am not sure if this will work in Sabayon, But it works in Fedora and The buntu family, so I am assuming it is not DEB or RPM dependant.

Problems with the forum and home page on the west coast US.

I have been having trouble getting to the forum and the home page for about 3 days now.

I can get there about 25% of the time. I generally check about every 4-6 hours.

I am in California specifically.

Just letting you guys know. So you can check if it's something on your end.

Thanks.

Re: Sabayon + OCZ Revodrive - 120GB

Run the live medium again.
Run the installer again.
If there is an option to fix the bootloader. Run that again. see if it fixes it.
This was my problem and fix, around Sabayon 5-7.
