Postby kavirajan » Sat Mar 13, 2010 8:25

Hi,
i have a sony laptop with 320 GB HD came with vista pre installed. i have made a partition and installed sabyan linux. Due to power shut down i got a read disk error and vista would not boot. sabayan was working (i configured loading OS is from sabayan) i tried to copy files from sabayan it was going smoothly but again due to shut down problem thats also gone. Now have GRUB loading stage2. I know i am asking too much but would like to know is there a way to up the sabayan or atleast recover my files... thanks in advance

have you tried to live DVD and mount the HDD if you can't do this with the Sabayon DVD, I know system rescue CD specializes with this problem. a Google search might be in order.
