Can't install VirtualBox

Hi, I'm new to Sabayon Linux, have to say I'm really loving the ease of use yet having the use of portage (which I am also new to). I have a couple of issues.. First and foremost I try to follow this guide using the portage section as I have used this to install everything else so far and saw the section on the wiki where it says mixing entropy and portage too much can mess things up. However, I get this following error after trying to emerge:

Any help with solving this issue would be greatly appreciated
On another note I have an Intel HDA sound card, and it works fine, I just can't seem to figure out how to make it louder as I have set the volume to 100% and it is still fairly quiet.

Other than these aforementioned issues, neat job on a fantastic OS

mybe you've nedd the sabayon-kernel-sources

try to install it

equo install linux-sabayon-sources

and try to emerge Vbox again

Tried that and it said I had to update GCC so I am currently following the HowTo.

If you are using portage for everything, than you shouldn't be equoing stuff, use the sabayon overlay and emerge the kernel sources - viewtopic.php?f=54&t=17718

I used the guide but hit this problem..

Could this problem have arisen as a result of following the initial advice and using Equo?

well there is a couple of things, layman stuff moved, need to get that fixed

than you need to have your emerge --sync && layman -S

Same error but it is at least in the new location of /var/lib etc. I really have no idea what is going on to be honest.

is your eselect kernel list set properly?

you got the sources installed?
