I went in terminal under root and typed :mkdir /mnt/sda1 && mount -t ext3 /dev/sda1 /mnt/sda1

I got this error: mkdir: cannot create directory `/mnt/sda1': File exists

Thank you for the info but my system has been pretty wacked so far.

Did you do this while in live-environment?
Anyway, I'm afraid it's over my head too now, someone else will have to help you.
Try getting on the IRC help channel from live environment.

Thanks ReemZ. I have semi bricked it a few times but was able to pull out of it ok. This time I am pretty worried.

I went ahead and re-installed Sabayon. This lock up beat me and I will def be more careful. Thanks for everyones help.
