Im using a laptop with 2 nvidia go 7900GS cards. Everything functions normally but only if I can get the xscreen to display. Every time I boot sabayon the screen will be completely black. I have to switch to a terminal and type, /etc/init.d/xdm restart (I dont know what that does, but i saw on google that it worked for someone who couldnt get the desktop to display.) once I type that in, all the terminals will go black and flicker, and im forced to do a hard shutdown. once i power it up it boots fine and everything works. I have to repeat that process every time i want to use sabayon. I tried typing startx in the terminal and it said that its already active for monitor 0 or something. when I got to the desktop I looked in the nvidia settings and it said GPU 0 was connected to an unknown CRT monitor. I think its trying to display the xscreen on a non-existant monitor.... GPU 1 is the one thats connected to a display. Is there any way I can fix this? can I somehow enable SLI for the 1 (real) display?
