Depends on what you mean by what should you do
If still in GUI and you want to restart computer pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys
at the same time will bring up the Logout Dialog then you can select Logout,
Turn Off or Restart with the Tab key and then press Enter key
If you want to fix your mouse try these things first before doing a lot of
searching on the web
Restart computer with live DVD but without mouse (just to see if same problem
is there)
Try a different mouse (PS2 or USB) preferably a cheap one
Try a different GUI (select from live DVD)
Try a different live CD or DVD (SystemRescueCD is good to have)
Check the batteries if mouse has them
If mouse is a USB mouse make sure no other devices are sharing the same port
Check your BIOS for correct settings (refer to motherboard manual)
If mouse works under Microsoft don't assume that it will work under Linux/Unix
Good luck
