To install the icon for the regular menu, paste all the corresponding folders to /usr/kde/4.2/share/icons/oxygen

After that:
Go to System Settings (under Computer in the kmenu)
Click on Appearance
Click on icons
Change the theme from Oxygen to something else
Change the theme back to Oxygen

The kmenu will now have the Sabayon logo from now on.

if you have gimp installed you can also change the color of the icons! which is also really cool!

Update: The above was the case for KDE 4.2.4, but for KDE 4.3.3 it has changed to /usr/share/icons/oxygen/

I am glad i found Lancelot. It has allowed me to clean up my desktop quite nicly, much better than the stock start menu.
