I did a hardware install and now I can´t use any other of my live cd to boot on my system. The only one that boots up is this Sabayon live cd. I have tried to boot up with, Mint 6,fedora 9, mandriva 2009. None of them works now, they did before I install this version of Sabayon. Mint 32 bit starts up but stops in hardware install on x server error. So the hardware installation of this Sabayon must have done something to my system. Any ideas?

I'm afraid I don't completely understand your problem. On the one hand you indicate that you cannot boot any of your other live CD's and yet on the other, you are trying an installation which crashes when you are trying to install it, which would indicate that you are able to boot from a CD. If in fact you were able to boot another CD, your hardware installation of Sabayon would have nothing to do with it's X failure. Try some cheat codes with that distro. If on the other hand you are no longer able to boot any CD, I would look at my bios settings to make sure that the CD was in the hierarchy of boot options.
If you are trying to install another distro on top of Sabayon, well, make sure you format your partitions beforehand of course. You can boot from your Sabayon install CD and do that with gparted which is available right on the desktop. Most distros are not ready for the ext4 files system as yet, which may be what you're running into if the installation can't see the partitions, but I'm not sure what you're running into, so I gave you sort of a shotgun answer ;-)

Wooow! Looks awesome and works fine in the iMac... even the audio card works out of the box... the live-CD song is cool hehe. This is a very nice work, congrats! In my opinion, the best Linux ever!

Anyway I'll wait for KDE version. May I ask about what KDE version or versions will be available in Sabayon 4.1? I still prefer KDE 3.5 :-)

Speaking of which, any idea when it's coming out? When gnome was released on the 13th it was stated kde would come out in a week. Want it to be good of course so I'm not asking for a rush job just anxiously awaiting it.

Should be soon, they are just adding a few tweaks and fixes since 4.1 Gnome to it and doing final testing.
