Sound is not coming

I had installed sabayon (version is Sabayon Linux x86 4),but sound is not coming by default.
What i had to do please help me.

Hi,

Usually to fix this, all you have to do is as root run alsaconf && alsamixer.

Open a terminal, type su, then enter your root password.

then type the command
"alsaconf && alsamixer" and after the autoconfiguration you should be up and running.
