cant sync sabayon

did you try reinstalling layman?

layman -d sabayon
layman -a sabayon

That happened to me earlier this morning, when I ran:

emerge --sync && layman -S

A little later, I just ran:

Code: Select all

layman -S

and it went through without a problem. I seem to remember this happening maybe a week ago when I was attempting to sync with portage too, but I didn't try again until this morning. I don't know whether it was a timing issue with the server or it didn't like the initial command combination.
