Default Fonts

I would like to cast another vote for terrific fonts set up by default. On my system, using the newest Nvidia drivers, Fedora has the best fonts of any distro. Even if I try to copy the font settings using various GUIs (KDE 4), it appears impossible to get the same results on Sabayon.

That's a pity, as I'd rather use Sabayon, but its fonts and GTK integration is not good at the moment.

You would have to check with kde or gnome websites or check gentoo.org install from scratch handbook for font's via portage install as you might need a extra app in kde and gnome to import them.

Also check the /etc/make.conf if using emerge and see if the fonts are added there as well.

Changing or using one of them should get your fonts working.

Thanks, W/W. I'm installing Sab 4 MCE right now, then updating to 4.1. Eventually I will equo KDE-base and -meta to give it a go.
