During the install process, we can choose which desktop manager we want, (KDE, Gnome, XFCE, Flux) which is nice, but then the installer leaves many components checked for install that belong to the other desktop. And there are so many of them I just left them checked, afraid that I'd end up installing a broken configuration.
This left me with about 5 video viewers, 3 file managers, and 2 or 3 power screen saver/power saver functions that would interfere with each other.
Is there a way to have the unneeded components uncheck when the desktop manger is chosen. ?
Don't get me wrong, I think Sabayon is the best.
I just like starting with a solid base, and building on that.
