As you may have noticed with recent releases we have been trying to move away from our current foot logo, this is your opportunity to influence the choice of the next logo for everyone's favourite distribution!

We need your help! break out your creativity, what does sabayon mean to you? how can it summed up?

Logo why change it ?

Any ways do we need something that is limited to someone's idea about linux like a penguin or something or can it be what the idea and concept of sabayon is ie: nice tasting , good feel , good experience , mix of future today without the pain logo ?

What do we need to passover when someone sees the logo ? what feel , concept or vibe should someone experience when they see the logo ?

Something more rough and industrial , something more softer and fine tuned , something more artistic ?

Maybe the cave "cafe man LOL" man to human type thing like darwin from ape to man but start with a penguin to a alien ??

Should definately have something fun in it nice and colourfull even though red , yellow , black is the default print colour most noticed in news paper print but lets not get limited to these colours.

Tarabaz is going in the right direction with his mouse pointers instead of embossed / reased letters + shadow have something more 3D looking rounded floating.
Molten metal with colour doing some weard shape ?
We do not have to be limited by a apple someone had a bite of and found a worm so they stopped eating it logo from the 70's flower power age

Wow, nice work! Personally I prefer your logo01.jpg style, as I'm not too keen on the long, swirling 'tails' (serifs?) on the letters in logo02.jpg and PROVA01.jpg. Well, actually I am keen on them but I don't think they fit with the current 'professional', snappy-looking image that Sabayon Linux is trying to project these days, if you know what I mean. I think the long, decorative serifs look like something from Lord of the Rings or Treasure Island, which is not the image I believe lxnay wants Sabayon Linux to have now. But that's just my opinion, of course.

Found some pics for inspiration to mod our name / logo with. maybe someone creative can take the way some of this looks and mod the name for us and or make a logo from here.

Could even be okay to have say " SL " as logo mounted on a raised something circle or diamond top / stop sign shape form ??















Under normal viewing this one would be nice
