Equo installs incorrect version of kweather

Postby mdmarmer » Wed Jan 07, 2009 2:46

I have a fresh install of Sabayon 4, and I wanted the weather applet for KDE toolbar. I did equo install kweather, and version 4.1 was installed. I saw this was not correct, and I was able to downgrade to 3.5.10 with equo. I did try emerge, and it also installs version 4.1 of this package as things are set up. It doesn't seem that a 3.5.10 install should try to get packages from KDE 4. Are there flags I should change?

Thanks!

I did that & everything is OK -- I see that equo world does not show kweather as a package to be upgraded, which is good.

I was just surprised that equo install chose a KDE 4 package when my install is 3.5.10

Thanks for your quick reply
