Problems after update to Spritz/Equo/Entropy 0.23.9 [Solved]

Postby chsims1 » Thu Nov 20, 2008 10:05

Well, I updated GLSAs and entropy etc. this morning. There was also a library, which I (foolishly) didn't take note of it's name. I've rebooted later on & there are problems. Firefox and spritz won't run; firefox throwing out the error:
Code: Select all
/usr/lib64/mozilla-firefox/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_dgettext

I'm sure there is a quick fix, anyone care to supply it?

Wow, quick reply. Thanks joost. Unfortunately, while a number of broken executables were found, they didn't seem to relate to this problem, or at least, didn't solve it.

Reinstalling gtk+ had no effect. Couldn't see any missing libraries using ldd.

Solution was to reinstall glib.
