Grub Error 22

After losing my entropy database I had regenerated the database from scratch with 'equo database generate' (see also http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=14358); then running 'equo world' it required to re-install everything... which I did... after the reboot though I get the error:

any clue please?
Note that trying to repair the installation with the DVD does not work: it crashes...

can your reinstall grub?
A good good grub recovery disk:
http://www.supergrubdisk.org/

also the live cd/dvd has way to reinstall grub from the installer

the live cd/dvd crashes if I try to restore grub...

I'll try the supergrubdisk... otherwise... probably it's better if I install it brand new...
