Spritz applet

Postby chickpea » Sat Sep 20, 2008 15:16

How do I disable this thing from loading at startup? I don't necessarily want to emerge -C it yet.

Thanks

(I searched couldn't find this answered sorry if it was already). Also, couldn't find a spritzrc or spritz-appletrc anywhere to fool around with sorry if this is obvious.

Did you try right clicking in the panel or the applet to disable or remove it.

Yes, you only disable it for that session. Any new session and it loads again. There is no option (like other KDE applets) where you can choose to not run at startup.

Okay I put the spritz icon in a folder in my personal file and turned off the updates notifier in the panel. As long as my system is working correctly I do not want updates installed. Don't much like it when and update takes out my printer or chops up my sound etc. etc.. I am really selective about what updates get installed.
