SMB problem after upgrading form KDE3.5.9 to 3.5.10 [Solved]

Yesterday my Entropy decided to upgrade 341 packages (the whole KDE suite).
Everything looked good after that.
Today Konqueror says

Protocol not supported: SMB

when I try to browse a Window$ network share like this:

\\server

which usually leads out to:

Code: Select all

smb://server

in the address field.
Now the \\ is not translated any more in smb:// and it gives that error.

This is very important for me, no Sabayon Linux if not working...

Are you using the 3.5 DVD version? I guess you are.

could you check and see this:

Yes, I'm using a setup from the live DVD.

!!! No matching packages found for "kdebase"

On other PC I have a 2 year experience with Portage, but on this specific PC I used only Entropy up to now.

I'm going to recompile kde-base/kdebase-kioslaves with samba support and make it available in entropy asap.
