i ever played torcs car racing game in Sabayon 3.4f.
Now, in my 3.5 installation, with 3D accleration and compiz, therefore with 3D acceleration turned on...
Torcs cannot installed by dfaultin 3.5 version.
i installed torcs with equo-entropy....the message that it was installed, but
when i claim to open torcs by the command torcs....
i received a message of command not found and the game does not begins.
The reply is good...

I think the system is not looking for binaries in /usr/games/bin

Try with the full path: /usr/games/bin/torcs

Now, installed Torcs run, but after configurations of the controls, whern i choice New Race, instead of running, TORCS closes all windowsand the game unexpectedlly....
Was not possible to play...
SOLVED. it was my race and car cionfigurations.
