What is the Sabayon C.A.P?
A project that brings together the best of the fabulous community artwork provided by the Sabayon Community, and puts them into an easy to install package.

Why Should I Use it?
There are a lot of different threads for in the artwork section linking to all the different wallpapers and other stuff that has been contributed, the C.A.P brings them together and allows end users to enjoy them all easily.

How Do I Use It?
1. Using Equo (recommended as it will provide auto-updates)
Add Zenana for x86-64 (see here) or Ewwbuntu (see here)for x86 and then run

# equo install sl-community-artwork

2. Using Portage
Download the ebuild from

Install it using this guide

3. Manual Install (not recommended)
Download the archive from

and extract it to:

Code: Select all

/usr/share/backgrounds/community

ok i added it to entropy. i think that you should add the hazard svg too. its currently my favorite. to make it more community shouldnt there be some type of login so users can upload then see cron to tar and gzip them once a week?

Yeah, i just relaised a missed a couple of the newer ones ill add them and bump then bump the version in a bit, ill look into the upload/bzip idea also

i dabble making themes.

never bothered uploading any. a practice i realise i should have taken up since loosing so many of them in the winds of changing operating systems and catastrophic failures wiping out the lot. so my collection is starting from the basics again, but anyways... like i say... never uploaded any before... nor even thought about it... until now. how do i go about sharing my themes?



is there demand? i'll set about making some if theres a vacuum of dessire needin filled.
