Spritz hanging when finished.

Hello,
I am running Sabayon 3.5 with all the latest updates.
I use Spritz to download updates (called from either the notification applet or via the onscreen Icon). It appears to run correctly but hangs when finished. It says it is idle, and appears darker than usual, but doesn't allow me to do anything. The notification applet isn't updated to show all is OK.
If I click on the 'x' to close it, I get:

The window "Spritz Package Manager 0.15.24.2" is not responding.
Forcing this application to quit will cause you to lose any unsaved changes.

If I force close, it closes. It used to exit correctly, I think before I installed the applet.

I too have seen these errors - it doesn't actually affect spritz's functionality any, and seems to only happen with the latest version of spritz. I'd file a bug report if I were you.

I also have this problem. In addition, after killing spritz if you try to run equo or execute a spritz queue again, it will state there is already an entropy session running.

I have this probem from right after finishing a fresh installation of SL 3.5.
Then, if I have to use it again, I have to force closing it and to kill 2 entropy tasks.

Any ideas?

Im wondering if a solution was found as I checked the Bug report & cant understand it.
is it supposed to be a sollution or just some debugging info.

the C program is a fix, not a solution - copy it into a file, add .c and your includes and compile it to make it work.

Sorry, I've been away for some time. Had to reinstall twice. Broke things when I changed videocard and couldn't get acceleration working. Then, played with gparted and got the wrong drive. Anyway, I have reinstalled and "spritz" appears to work OK. Very slow and greys out often, but appears to end OK. Has this actually been fixed?
I tend to use use "equo" a bit more now, it is much faster, and for small changes, just as good.
