Hi

I find that Kuroo is quite useful for this http://kuroo.org/screenshots.html
You can install it by opening up a konsole and typing E.g

su (enter root password)
emerge --sync
emerge kuroo

If you find that kuroo doesn't update itself after you issue the "emerge --sync" command then you have to issue the "emerge --metadata" command straight after. E.g.

su (enter root password)
emerge --sync
emerge --metadata
kuroo

Hope this helps

All the best

Dave

p.s. Kuroo allows you to select multiple packages just like selecting multiple files in konqueror.

It should be noted that kuroo development has stopped and isn't part of the entropy system. I would not use it with the entropy package manager system.

You can always do
Code: Select all
equo remove package1 package2 package3 package4 package5

You can't spend your life depending on GUI and my guess is that it is a feature that will be coming with Spritz also, just have some patience.
