I'll add to the list:

Skulltag (Doom source-port) - features new multiplayer modes as well as enhanced graphics. Use the OpenGL settings or else you will have some graphical distortion. The "Internet Doom Explorer" (IDE) server browser works very well, too. I've played several times online and had no difficulties.

Dwarf Fortress works very well.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, works good as well. Just need to add "UseGLSL"="disabled" to the Direct3d section in user.reg to fix menu.

Im using x86_64 sabayon and wine 1.1.5

Completely off-topic on my side here, but I noticed your signature points to a youtube vid, honouring the Luftwaffe.
For those that don't know: that was the German Air Force in WW2.

You wouldn't mind throwing that sickening piece of nazi-glorification out, would ya? Image

It still is the Luftwaffe. That would be like telling me to ditch an american air force propaganda movie because we killed a bunch of Vietnamese people this one time v0v.

I know it's still called Luftwaffe, that's not the point. Did you see the vid? Then you might know what I mean.
To spare you from having to watch it: I did, and the uniforms are clearly from that period in time.

And even if it were about the Luftwaffe of today, it still would not be in place on this forum.
And no, I do not have anything against Germans, I have a problem with nazis.

Windows games I tested:

- Age of Empires 2 (Works fine. I'm still looking for a native game of the genre though..)
- Quake 3 (works fine)
- Quake 4 (works fine)
- Warcraft 3 & Frozen Throne (works fine)
- Oblivion (works fine)
- Need For Speed 1, 2, MW (NFS1 starts, but for some reasons it wouldn't respond to my keyboard during a race. The others froze on the loading screen)
- Assassin's Creed (didn't work. I'll give it another shot though, i love this game)
- The LOTR Conquest (didn't work)
- LOTR Battle For Middle Earth 2 (didn't work)

Warcraft works very well.
If you have hints how to get G3 and UT3 working, let me know.
I even tried the patches for G3 but they didn't work wit 0.9.58 .

I don't wanna mess around here, but i would say Unreal Tournament comes with an native linux client, you don't need to play it with wine
An i also read about some guys trying doom 3 and even quake, these are also native playable in linux - so try this versions.

Ps sorry for my bad english

And you wouldn't mind minding your own business, would ya? Who are you to tell people what their signature should be? And who are you to say what a signature has or hasn't got to do with a forum? This is a linux forum: this means that here we talk about linux stuff and that I decide what my signature should be! I don't remember any rule that forbid to show a signature relating to Luftwaffe, right?
And yes, you're offtopic and, on ther contrary of what is above, offtopic posts are not liked in any forum!

I'm sorry, I had no idea that going off topic was worse than honouring a bunch of racist murderers, pardon me, a bunch of murderers in the service of a racist regime, or mouthing off at me by using a second account

btw I don't know in what country you live, but there just so happen to be countries that banned nazi-glorification by law.
Just so you know...

This is my second and last answer to this question, cause I don't want to go off-topic: this is not a secind account. I am from Italy and I've used sabayon for around two months; I am not Dragons Tooth... I am simply a person who has to do day by day with people like you, who want to impose by force their point of view, also in places (like this forum) where their thinking about politics and related arguments is not requested and has nothing to do with what people talnk about in that specifical place!
Dragons Tooth is free to honour who he prefers and if honouring Luftwaffe is out-law, that is nothing of your business and, in the case, German authorities (cause I think Dragon is German) will eventually take care of him and you can always make a denounce agains anonymous for honouring, how you say, "a bunch" of Nazionalsocialists (yes, this is the correct term!)!
But one thing is sure: politics has nothing to do with this forum (or at least with this section!) and you are nothing to tell him what is right and what is wrong! You like free speech right, don't you? So be coherent and mind your own business!
You're totally offtopic!
But if you want to talk about Second World War games with Nationalsocialists, you're welcome!
I won't answer to you again, not to fall offtopic again! And because it's not worth the writing!

And btw: has anyone tried some version of Call of Duty on Sabayon?
