Testing it out now... It seems great! This is exactly what I was waiting for. I think most of the guys that want the pod edition want portage vs. spritz. This is great though and thanks so much to the team!

For me its not the size of my harddrive, but the speed of compiled apps vs. pre-compiled bins.

I also would like to say everything just works, even my wireless. A mild hesitation, but it picked it up. I didn't even have to run net-setup.

Very, very nice... I love it!

By the way in the login/session manager I saw there is an Enlightenment option... wich I understand it is not included in the cd... are you guys planning to use it in future releases?
Or it's just there to help you installing it?

Anyway xfce rocks too!
Good work, as always.

Hello All,
I was looking at one of the download sites and it seems to me, that the size of the full Sabayon 5.3 64-bit version file is far more smaller (124MB) than a full 32-bit verion (4GB).
Code: Select all

Jul 01 2008 10:43    123748352 Sabayon-Linux-x86_64-3.5.iso

ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/sabayonlinux/

Am I missing something? Can someone explain it to me?
Thanks in advance.

burnina8r (props on name too): how do you do the installs on the eee? I haven't found much info, even at eeeuser.com/wiki...
