Gweled game error msg

Postby Priswell » Mon Jul 07, 2008 2:09

When I play the game Gweled, I get the following error message after playing for a while:

File Limit Exceeded

I looked up the error message on the 'net, and one Debian help forum said to update the software, so I tried updating, but according to the message, there were no updates available in portage. Help? My husband really likes this game, so it's a big linux draw for him.

we'd have to be more familiar with the game itself to give you a real answer - you can check the game's site and forums to see if there's anything there. My personal knee-jerk reaction is to wrap the game in a script which will remove unused files generated by the game after it hits a certain point (before it exceeds the file limit), or you could always just check the overlays for one that has a more updated version of the game. Oh, and make sure you've emerge --sync and layman -S before you concluded that you had installed the most recent version.
