Spritz problem with licences [Solved]

Postby dunsurfin » Fri Jul 04, 2008 0:28

Sabayon 3.5 x86-64 r4 Spritz 0.15.23.7
Trying to use Spritz to install items that need a licence agreement, the licence agreement window opens but clicking "accept" does nothing and the "OK" remains greyed out. I then have to close Spritz and install using equo. This has happened 3 times.
Is there any further information I can provide?

I cant remember exactly but i believe you have to right click on each one individually and select accept. I may have to install something with a licence to find out :p

When you're going to install/update programs with a license, spritz opens a little windows which shows the license and under it the programs that use it.
You have to click on the license you want to accept and then on accept license before you can click OK.

I'm sorry that I didn't make myself clear. That is what I did do. Selecting the licence and clicking acceot does nothing.

At irc, no one of devel team could reproduce the issue. :?
What package/s you were trying to install? Please just try to reproduce the issue with minimum steps and write here exactly all you do.

You're right :)
What I was doing wrong was highlighting the actual package (e.g. "www-client/opera-9.50") rather than the package category (e.g. "Opera-9.0"). Once I'd got the right combination of clicks everything worked. Thanks for the help.

I agree it needs to be improved a bit.
