Hi all,
no, having the PHP handlers is not mandatory. Anyway, I just committed a fix, it's in SVN but the current trunk won't be tagged as new release anytime soon (working on NLnet M3).
So, open /usr/lib/entropy/libraries/entropy.py, go to line 17765 (version: 0.15.23.7) and change False to True

Ok, everything uploaded, so my repo should be up and running :alien:

Then I added
Code: Select all
repository|brulee|XFCE oriented repository|http://users.telenet.be/brulee|http://users.telenet.be/brulee#bz2

to '/etc/entropy/repositories.conf'
Executed 'equo update' and got
Code: Select all
Crashbox joachim # equo update
>> Repository brulee hasn't been downloaded yet.
>> Repository brulee is not available. Cannot validate
>>  @@ Repositories synchronization ...
>>   #  (1/2) XFCE oriented repository

The following lines draw my attention
Code: Select all
>>   # Database EAPI: 2
>>      Attention: Repository is being updated. Try again in a few minutes.

So the question now is, what am I doing wrong, I feel so stupid ...

Well apparently your updating it?

Just disconnect and retry a bit later?

I am not updating (at least not that I know of)
To make sure, I closed all my applications, rebooted, logged in, waited +-10min and tried again.
The output I get is exactly the same as before.

How does it determine that I am updating? A file that is still there and should have been removed or something?
Maybe someone could try and connect with my (test) repo, just to verify?

First of all, thx for trying, I really appriciate it.

But sadely the problem is still there...
Does somebody know how it determines that the repository is being updated? Clearly there must be an indication somewhere, but I have no clue were or why it still thinks it is being updated... :?

Maybe not being able to validate the repo has something to do with the 'md5sum.php' file not being there? Just guessing
