 Hallo mensen,
omdat ik over moeilijkheden bij de installatie van WinXP op een "Samsung Spinpoint F1 HD103UJ S.A.T.A.3 met 1000GB"(1 Terabyte) gehoord heb, vraag ik me af of zo'n harddisk onder linux(sabayon)herkend wordt :?:
iemand al geprobeerd

SATA of any version if it is in the kernel , it is supported + most hardware out there does not yet support SATA 3 so will fall back to SATA 2.
It will only run as fast as the slowest part of the hd to ?? connection.

SATA3 should only be usefull in 1 or 2 years effectively once most hardware is at SATA3 level / compatible.

As for disk space yes 1000gb or more will be readable as 1 big ext3 or multi partition hd.
