Some new darker wallpapers

My first attempts at some wallpapers with the GIMP.

Take it easy on me as this is my first shot at graphic design, I'm an attorney by trade/nature

Any suggestions on how to make better wallpapers are GREATLY appreciated. I will do more as time goes on. I think this is one of the best ways I can (personally) help the SL project as I can't code.

I am working on making the corners frayed for this wallpaper so that it looks like old canvas frayed at the edges. I almost have something good. Will post back once I do. I would really like to make it wrinkled, wavy and frayed at the edges, but that really tests my GIMP abilities at this point.

Nice job, chickpea! I really like the textured one (the "grunge" one). The others are good too!
