PROBLEM MOUNTING NTFS PARTITION

HI !

I do the tutorial for mount a NTFS partition but it does't automount when i reboot and do not write to NTFS , i make the dir on /media/Windows and add the line

/dev/hda1 /media/Windows ntfs-fuse auto,user_xattr,umask=000 1 1

to fstab i never can write NTFS, some help????

assuming you're using SabayonLinux, do you have an IDE hard drive or sata? If you have sata, you need to change hda1 to sda1, also, go into verbose mode during bootup and see if there are any mounting errors

Yes i have ide disk's my partition is on disk 2, and mmm i see on boot whit (ctrl+1 i guess) and i dont see errors
This is my fstab file:


/dev/hda2 / ext3 defaults,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/hda1 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hdb1 /media/Windows ntfs-fuse auto,user_xattr,umask=000 1 1
