Okay I have downloaded this the current release and installed it and it is working very well. Ran emerge --sync && Layman -S and emerged portage and all remains well and working fine.Spritz is telling there are 52 updates available however when I updated the 0 iso install (64 updates total) things went sower hpdevice mgr quit working, Compiz-fusion stop responding to mouse commands and opened programs including firefox were so high on the screen that you could reach the control buttons and I could not pull them down with the mouse. With that said my new install has 52 updates available spritz tells me but I am hesitant to download them and lose functionality. Oh I left out that flash quit working in firefox also. I am open to your recommendations here. I am not upset here just uncertain as to how to proceed .

:D

Time for me to download the new loop and get working on the xdelta3. Although these xdeltas are already quite small!

czartj wrote:In xdelta howto ( http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=11984#p73932 ) posted above, the xdelta's are for:
    Sabayon-Linux-x86-3.5_Loop2-r0.iso
The last beta release was:
    Sabayon-Linux-x86-3.5_Loop1-r1.iso
Am I missing something?
- Czar

I second that. The howto explains how to go from L2r0 to L2r1 (and the xdelta filenames imply the same), but isn't there a delta from L1r1?

huh?

there is only 2 isos for final and you needed the loop2-r0 iso to use the isos, there is not xdeltas from Loop1 to Loop2

Sabayon-Linux-x86_64-3.5_Loop2-r1.iso
and
Sabayon-Linux-x86-3.5_Loop2-r2.iso
