Has anyone gotten the new "native" client to work?

I followed the directions on the gentoo forums:

But I am still getting an error:

!!! /usr/local/portage/games-rpg/eveonline/eve-online-000062-r1.ebuild does not seem to have a valid PORTDIR structure.

Should I continue here or just stick to the Gentoo forums to try to get this solved?

did you setup your make.conf for PORTDIR_OVERLAY?

Indeed, and sorry for not including that information.

You know I set up the directory correctly I believe. But just installed it manually and it works fine
