HEY TKS FOR RESPONDE ME, THIS IS WHAT I WANT:

I HAVE A HARD DISK WHIT A MANDRIVA WHIT 2 PARTITIONS ON EXT3 AND A WANT TO MOUNT ON SABAYON I HAVE THE DVD VERSION, AND I TRIED WHIT GPARTED LIKE CVILL64(TKS) SAY, BUT WHEN I TRIED TO DO IT SAY THAT I MUST FORMAT AND I SEE ALL THE HARD DISK WHIT OUT A PARTITION , ITS LIKE ITS VIRGIN MY HARD DISK BUT I HAVE 2 PARTITIONS EXT3.

ITS THERE ANOTHER TOOL TO DO THAT OR I NEED TO DO SOMETHING BEFORE I MOUNT IT A PARTITION FROM A SECOND HARD DISK?

ah, you're trying to mount the drive to be able to do stuff to it?

# mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/gentoo


Change /dev/sda1 to w/e the partition is located, then its mounted to /mnt/gentoo so you can do stuff with it on the livecd :)

BTW: Please use lowercaps :)

i can't see my other partitions on the other hard disk and i have 4 partitions!! on hdb

hmm....are you sure you didn't by chance format your hdb drive? coz that clearly says you have no formated partitions on it and gparted can basically see all partition types no matter the format...

if you honest think its wrong, give me the output of

if you do, as root, fdisk -l on you installed mandriva, what output does it give you?
