Sabayon Linux x86/x86-64 3.5 Loop 1: Beta Release

i have one problem with 3.5 loop1. when i press Alt+F2 the run command window pops but it changes to virtual terminal 2 (the one that shows the progress of the sabayon startup). when i press Ctrl+F2, it changes to desktop too and then to the same virtual terminal . how can i solve this.

I have tried searching a few times, but apparently KDE 4 is too generic of a term, so the search won't let me. Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but are plans for the full release of Sabyon 3.5 to use KDE 4? Officially that is to be released in 15 days, so it seems doable depending on the release schedule for Sabyon.

We have it in entropy database, rc2, but till it goes stable and tested than we will know more. I do not see why it won't be included in the final release. Just have to see how things work out. A final release date has not been given for 3.5. Another question is how many loops will there be - as many as it takes.

I installed SL 3.5 loop 1 64-bit, everything went swimmingly. Only things I have noticed so far, is:

1. I can't seem to create a new folder
2. After upgrading to Azureus 3.0.3.4 I install the required plugins, like SafePeer, Progress Bar etc. Using the Sourceforge way, Azureus simply shuts-down. However, if I download them manually, then install them from file, no problem.
3. Opening a torrent (in this case: Sabayon-Linux-x86_64-3.5_Loop1-r1.iso.torrent), choosing the location etc & clicking ok, Azureus simply shuts down again.

Apart from that, loop 1 rocks 8)
