Sabayon bugs link points to gentoo bugzilla

Postby docbill » Sun Sep 03, 2006 4:19

The Sabayon bugs link points to the Gentoo bugzilla. While this might be the correct place to report problems is specific packages, it is definitely not the right place for Sabayon specific bugs, like problems with the Live DVD unmounting itself...

please RTM....Welcome to the bug tracker for Sabayon Linux. This is for use of "in-house" Sabayon Linux products.

The following are supported by this bug tracker:

* Sabayon Linux Live mode
* Sabayon Linux Installer
* Sabayon Linux Kernel Updater
* Sabayon Linux Overlay (includes ebuilds there)
* Sabayon Linux Migration Assistant

For gentoo bugs, please also check the official Gentoo bugzilla. You may use the form here:

And if you scroll down, you get an extra bonus of searching SL bugs! You can search two bug systems...wonderful

The part that confused me is it turns out all Sabayon bugs are entered under "TestPackage".

BTW. It is VERY rude to curse at someone, even with anacronisms, when they are simply trying to provide feedback to improve a product.

Yes, well the typing was a mistake, apologizes. But do scroll down a bit, coz I'm just trying to make it easy for a person to see if we have the bug or if bugs.gentoo.org has it already submitted

You mean acronym. Achronisms are inconsistencies that have to do with time. For example, if, in a movie based off of a Shakespeare play, we saw a car, we would be seeing an example of anachronism.

Besides, everyone knows he meant Read The Fine Manual. Tsk, tsk! Keep your mind out of the gutter, now! :wink:
