KXDocker

Before i go to reinstall SL I would like to try a few bits and bobs one of whick is KXDocker, but on all the forums in here i tried all the options with emerge kxdocker , emerge =kxdocker-1.1.4a-r2 and so on but every time i get emerge =kxdocker-1.1.4a-r2

Can we stil get this and if so how?

portato, or kuroo even porthole gui's offer a great catalog for portage

kxdocker is in the xeffects overlay, so you have to add that, than emerge it

I see:

as only version

I have tried portato and Kuroo but cannto find the package

that is why I posted the above, you not going to find it in portato or kuroo.

KXDocker is amazing and works incredibly well with Compiz if you uncheck the "Auto send the docker to background layer" option in the configurator. XQDE will be even more impressive, when a stable release is available.

It's failing for me too. I think the webserver is down, or maybe they're in the middle of releasing an update. Only time will tell.

Managed to suss it I done a google search for kxdocker-1.1.4a.tar.bz2 downloaded it into usr/portage/distfiles then run emerge kxdocker

I lied it did nto work I had to download all the files from http://www.xiaprojects.com/index.php?se ... 20sources# and it is runnign so far so good up to 8/10
