2 important Questions

Just a couple of questions I was hoping could be cleared up a bit not just 4 me but I'm sure others would find useful:

1) if we have problems say with errors,portage,files & drivers etc,(example, I did a emerge -u system & found afterwards my Nvidia driver wasn't working anymore & my network) I got network going again but havn't found solution 4 Nvidia yet. -Question is are we supposed to come to this forum for those sort of system problems or go to Gentoo forum?
Reason I ask is I found in past experiences when I trialed VidaLinux & Navyn that if you asked a question in regards to a gentoo spinoff Distro that wasnt compiled manually like you would with Gentoo that they would snub your questions it seemed.

2) What do or what would the developers of this great Distro really recommend after installing RR4 ? Are we supposed to follow the format with portage as if we have just installed Gentoo or VidaLinux & follow Gentoos examples on updating the system etc . If not or even if so could there be a wiki or something that explains how we should maintain our RR4 system after install.(tips & Tricks)

after install, you have a genuine GENTOO GNU/LINUX. so, I think that you could write to gentoo forums without any problem.
