setting up a .jar for install as in double click this icon??

hello

Im wondering how i could set up a .jar file (Drjava) to be an executable in the KDE menu
so i dont have to type java -jar to the file and i can move it to somewhere better than my desktop
i also have to tell it where tools.java is everytime i open it.

so im guessing ill stick it in the same directory as tools.jar and make some sort of shortcut to it launching it.
How do i do this? so it would work the same as Azureus, double click an icon.

right click, open with, "java -jar"

if that doesnt work, just create a script that has "java -jar $1" and open the file with that.

ive tried to make the script file so it looks to where ive placed the drjava app but it just opens in kwrite? what have i done or not done??

so its named Drjava.sh which i assume is a script file
and ive put in it

java -jar $/opt/sun-jdk-1.5.0.11/lib/drjava-stable-20061025-1556.jar

is that right??
