Copy files with Konqueror preserving date/time

Postby fgs » Wed Oct 03, 2007 18:22

Hi all,

when I copy/move a file using Konqueror, the timestamp of the target file is set to current date/time. I would rather like to preserve the original file's timestamp (just like "cp -p"). Is it possible to configure Konqueror/KDE in order to achieve that?

Thanks in advance.

Can't be done with Konqueror as far as I know, but it can be done with another KDE file manager: Krusader:

http://krusader.sourceforge.net/handbook/basic.html

Code: Select all
emerge krusader
