set up firefox to open torrents with azureus (solved)

for me it opens them with democracy player

how do i change that?

I downloaded and saved a torrent to my Desktop
then right clicked on the torrent and selected Open With --> Other...
then type azureus in the 'open with' box and selected 'Remember application association for this type of file

i tried that too, but firefox still gave me the only option to open with democracy (default)

the solution is to download with firefox, select open with
go to directory /usr/bin type azureus in the name field, and that should be it
