is one of the main reasons I'm planning on going back to 32, even though I have a
64bit system. Just too much of a hassle...

Is the 32bit version much slower than 64, or would I be hard pushed to notice a difference?
Haven't installed the new release yet.

Installing programs will be slower. Compiling is CPU intensuve.

You can just emerge the 32bit version of firefox and netscape-flash

For firefox :

emerge mozilla-firefox ( Remember you can use the -s switch to search portage first for the available versions.

So to search for programs with emerge command @ the kconsole, do the following :

emerge -s <packagename>

For Flash :

emerge netscape-flash

This is how i solved the problem, as i run Sabayon 64bit too.

Only problem i have now is streaming real media & WMV files from most websites.

But hey i am here to to learn and help if i can.

Cheers Dude.

PS : Post back on your progress and if it helps.

Also if you find another solution, to what i have stated please post it to help others who experience the same issue and/or problem.

Thanks for the pointer, but I really want to see streaming video.

Emerging netscape-flash did not work f0r me, when I was on RR64.

Am now on Sabayon 32 and vlc-plugin for firefox does not work at all and mplayer-plugin has issues too.

Besides that, my network settings keep resetting and I forgot to create a swap partition at install time, guess its time for a re-install, no time to figure it all out, lol
