I am running Sabayon Mini 3.3b, and my wireless has been working fine until I recently updated the baselayout and it's deps. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but now my wireless card just can't connect. (I have also mentioned my problem in this thread, since there have been more than just wireless issues for me).
The problem manifests in following. When booting, the system shows a warning "net.eth1 had started, but is inactive". I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I mention it in case someone's interested. The real problem comes up when I start wpa_supplicant or try connecting to my wireless network with KNetworkManager. wpa_supplicant says "WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect", and disconnects, and KNetworkManager asks for WPA key, and after I enter it, it asks again and again, but never connects.
I have double checked the WPA key on my wireless router, and in my wpa_supplicant configuration file, it should be correct.
Anyone have any ideas or leads? Thanks.
