Cannot get internet thru apps in WINE.

I get internet fine, but when I want to connect to the internet through the Wine program(Running world of warcraft) it can't detect the net. Is there a code or something to fix this? Thanks.

I think it might be blocking certain ports or you need to install a virtual network connection thingy not sure , wine help pages should have correct info for this or the wiki on top of this page / gentoo.org wiki / forums.
3.4e should have wine doors that can make live easier it even installs directx 9 for you. Maybe it can be installed on the SL verion you have to help fix this.

I am not familiar with wine so can not give you facts only speculation.
