Kuroo 0.81 back on track

Just thought some of you might like to know that development has restarted on kuroo and a new ebuild came out today in the Gentoo portage tree. It is kuroo-0.81_rc1.
If your choice of package manager is Portato then just ignore this message

Good to hear that, but I am a bit confused, as I have kuroo-0.90_pre2007 installed right now ..

Yeh, kuroo-0.90_pre2007 is part of the sabayon overlay and not part of the main portage tree. I would just ignore it and stick to the kuroo-0.81_rc1 version.

So if I understand it right, the 0.90 version was mad by Sabayon dev. team and not by the official maintainers of Kuroo ?

Hi

I guess it was a version that the Sabayon devs compiled at the time from what was available on the kuroo svn tree (before the kuroo project was restarted). Since kuroo has been restarted, gentoo has released kuroo-0.81_rc1, which is the latest svn version. I expect at some point, the sabayon devs will remove their version which in my opinion they gave the wrong name. The previous version of kuroo was 0.80 and I think the next version of kuroo is 0.81 and not 0.90.
