Postal 2 and res[Solved Sorta]

I installed Postal 2 recently and every time I run the game it changes my desktop res to 800x600? Looks as though its changing it to what the game is set at. When i check the game options to turn up the res it only goes one more up to 1024x768. But I have a 15.4 Dell Inspiron 6400 which i run at 1280x800. Any suggestions on how to fix this so i don't have to change my res back every time i exit the game.

Upgraded to 3.4e and now the problem no longer exist.
