I have a Creative Blaster X-Fi Platinum and the sound does not work on Sabayon.
I am thinking about to buy a Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro Virtual 5.1 Surround Sound Channels USB Interface Sound Card to use until X-FI driver appears.
Is this USB-AUDIO device works on Sabayon 3.4a?
Are there any problem to use the PCI X-FI Platinum card together with USB Turtle Beach Micro? I dont want to remove the X-FI Platinum because I use Windows XP in the same machine.
Thanks for help.

In my experience, there are no X-Fi drivers for linux.
In my setup, I have an X-Fi Xtreme card and motherboard audio. I use the X-Fi card in windows and the onboard sound in linux. You just have to remember to switch from one jack to the other. The onboard sound is de-activated in windows with no driver installed because of the X-Fi card. It's what I do so I don't have to put out more money for another sound card.
